The Knowlton Township enumerator was very lax in his spelling; ie, Rode Island, surnames spelled differently
in the same family tabulation, etc.  You will also note that there is no Page 538B.  It apparently was a
blank page, hence was not photographed. There does not appear to be any data missing since there is no
discontinuity in Dwelling or Family Numbers.
